"Holiday Online Auction"... just around the corner!

Our first-ever holiday online auction will run the week of December 3. This is the first of our Reach for the Stars events with all proceeds supporting the education of our students. We have some exciting items in store, perfect for this time of year:

• Take in the Tree Lighting festivities with a weekend stay in Leavenworth
• Reduce the stress of holiday planning with a massage at Apple Therapy or Massage Envy
• Kick-start your New Year's resolution with a CrossFit fundamentals package or a 3 month YMCA membership
• Pamper yourself with hair or nail services from Newcastle Nails, Obadiah, Jayme's Hair Design and more
• Check out the latest Hollywood flicks in style and ultimate comfort with a VIP package from iPic Theatres
• Manage the in-laws or other overnight guests by escaping for a 1 night stay at the Westin Bellevue!

We are still looking for items to round out this exciting online event. Following are some ideas to get you started:

• E-readers, such as the new Kindle Fire or the B&N Nook
• Kinect, Xbox, Wii, DSi and other electronic games or devices
• Tablets, such as Microsoft's new Surface or an iPad
• Ski Packages and stays
• Spring break getaways
• Champagne or sparkling wine
• Nutcracker, Cirque du Soleil Tickets or theatre & concert tickets
• Gift cards

Simply complete a procurement form by November 1st and submit it to Lissa at lissawax@gmail.com, Sue at suewilkos@comcast.net or Georgia at gforchuk@msn.com. Donations received after that date will be part of our spring online auction or our March 16, 2013 evening at the Westin Bellevue. Wanted: Delicious Dessert Donations for Auction!

Amazing baker? Dessert savvy? Just generous? Make a sweet donation to the Newcastle PTSA Auction that fits your dessert profile.  We’re inviting you to bake a fabulous treat, purchase rich wonders at a special bakery, or simply contribute towards the purchase of something yummy.  However you like to dish up dessert, we’ll accept your addition to our wildly popular Dessert Parade at the March auction.

Desserts will be accepted in person on the Friday morning before the auction, March 15, on disposable trays.
