Not only did we come together as a community and meet our aggressive stretch goal of raising $275,000 - we beat it! Over the course of this year, you all delivered for the students, the staff, and the entire Newcastle community, raising over $300k (over $230k net) to the Newcastle Elementary PTSA to support our children's programs and events!
And what's more, Auction-night attendees and those who have donated since made a huge difference, raising over $60k that will be used to expand our playground, making better use of our space with new equipment, a congregation area, and outdoor classroom space! Because we raised enough for more extensive playground renovation, work will begin this summer and will be ready for the 2019/2020 school year!
