The Reflections Program is well under way and the clock is ticking. If your student is an “artiste” and would like an opportunity to show off their talents, then the Reflections Fine Arts contest is an excellent choice. Students create their own original works based on this year’s theme, “Diversity Means….”, and judges from the local community provide feedback. All entries will have the chance to compete in the district-wide competition –or maybe move on to the State or National competitions. Additionally, each student will receive a participation prize!

Students may submit works of art in any, or all, of the following categories: Visual Arts, Literature, Musical Composition, Film/Video, Photography, or Choreography/Dance. The deadline for submitting entries is November 4. So don’t wait until the last minute! Please go to the following link for additional information, guidelines and required forms.  http://www.wastatepta.org/programs/reflections/forms.html.

If you have questions, please contact one of the Reflections Program Co-Chairs: Chris Longfellow chrislongfellow17@comcast.net) or Jahna Smith (jahnasmith@comcast.net).

Happy Creating!
