Newcastle PTSA is holding a Food Drive on October 16th - 31st to benefit Issaquah Food Bank, a local non-profit organization serving our community. Its mission is to provide basic needs for our community members to promote self-sufficiency.  Donations will benefit newborns to age 90+, including homeless, struggling seniors, the mentally ill and victims of tough times or tough streets.

Please help make a difference in our community by donating the following non-perishable food items and essential supplies in the marked collection bins within Newcastle Elementary School during the drive.

For a list of items, the Issaquah Food Bank is in serious need of, please {click here}.

Your donations can be deposited anytime from October 16th - 31st into one of the bins at school by the main office or at the foot of the stairs. The bins will be labeled “Pajama Day” and “Sports Day.”

We will also be collecting donations at the Costume Carnival on October 27th.  At the end of the Food Drive, whichever bin has collected the most food will determine which kind of fun day the whole school will have.
