What is Gift-A-Book? 

It is a great way to recognize your child or a loved one and to help keep our school’s library supplied with new and exciting hardcover books!  The school district no longer funds new materials for our library.  The only way to guarantee new books in our library is by donating to Gift-A-Book.  If you have ever thought about it, this is the year to donate!  By donating to
Gift-A-Book, your child or loved one will:

  • Be recognized in a special display in the library area.
  • Have a personalized bookplate in the selected book.

How do you participate? 

  • From mid-October through November, donations can be made in two ways:
  • Select a book title and dollar amount from the list which can be found three ways: at http://bit.ly/SYij1b, on the Newcastle Library Connect site (check the “Newsletters and Updates” tab) or from the wall of BOOKS displayed outside of the library.
  • Donate a dollar amount for the librarian to choose for you.
