On Friday, May 3rd a large group of Newcastle parents along with Dr. Wood joined other Issaquah school district parents, educators and community members at the Issaquah Schools Foundation Nourish Every Mind luncheon.
It was an opportunity for all to learn more about the valuable programs available to our students courtesy of the Issaquah Schools Foundation. Attendees heard directly from educators and students about the impact of programs like before and after school education support, the fine arts fund enabling school choirs and orchestras, and STEM programs like Robotics clubs. Thank you to all who attended.
The Issaquah Schools Foundation was founded in 1987 to support the students and educators of the Issaquah School District.
