What Superpowers do YOU want to bring to the PTSA next year?
We are so energized by the possibilities created by our successful fundraising efforts over the last two years and the generosity of our families, and we are looking for people to make those possibilities a reality! We have a complete turnover of our PTSA board and several committee chair positions this year and we have several openings we still need to fill. The good news is that many of us will still be around to provide support for the new board. We are fortunate to have elected Trisha Marshall (President) and Allison Sweeney and Mary Vickers (Co-VPs of Volunteers) last week to the 2019/2020 Board.
Below are some of the positions we are still looking to fill:
Our current board members will be reaching out for conversations in an effort to fill next year’s board and set us up for success! If you would like more information about any of the above opportunities and want to talk to a board member, {please click here to submit your interest via a Google form} or email Angela Ursino at angelaursino@comcast.net or Elysa Piha at empiha@gmail.com with your name and the positions you are interested in exploring.
On Friday, May 3rd a large group of
It was an opportunity for all to learn more about the valuable programs available to our students courtesy of the Issaquah Schools Foundation. Attendees heard directly from educators and students about the impact of programs like before and after school education support, the fine arts fund enabling school choirs and orchestras, and STEM programs like Robotics clubs. Thank you to all who attended.
The Issaquah Schools Foundation was founded in 1987 to support the students and educators of the Issaquah School District. In partnership with the District, the Foundation drives resources to help students reach the promise of their potential. If you would like to learn more about the Foundation programs or make a donation, please visit www.isfdn.org or reach out to Trisha Marshall at tsm0507@gmail.com.
