First PTSA General Membership Meeting a Success!

Thank you to those who joined us for our first General Membership meeting of the year. We approved our 2019/2020 Mission and Goals as well as our Standing Rules and 2019-2020 budget. We also approved our newest PTSA Executive Board Members – Rebecca Nguyen and Elysa Piha (Secretaries) and Marcia O’Donoghue (Co-VP of Ways and Means). Congratulations and thank you to them for their commitment to our school and kiddos. We also enjoyed a talk by Dr. Wood on Growth Mindset. If you have ideas for other Parent Education topics we could present at future meetings, please contact Trisha Marshall at tsm0507@gmail.comAs always, minutes of the meeting are available on the PTSA website.

Support the Issaquah Schools Foundation and Support Our Kids!

Step up for kids this Fall! Issaquah Schools Foundation is an important resource at all 24 schools in our district, supporting programs like after school academic programs, robotics, dedicated fine arts, Cultural Bridges, basic student needs and homework help! We also provide grants to teachers and schools that benefit every student and every school in the district.

As you consider planning your yearend donations, consider supporting the Issaquah Schools Foundation. Your donations give students opportunities to explore and cultivate their interests, thrive academically, and graduate with the skills they need for a rewarding and productive future. Step Up for Kids and donate to our fall campaign here.
