Our Food Drive Continues Through October 30

Our annual Food Drive to benefit the Issaquah Food Bank is underway. Donations will benefit members of our community from newborns to age 90+, including the homeless, struggling seniors, the mentally ill and victims of tough times or tough streets. Please help make a difference in our community by donating non-perishable food items and essential supplies from now until October 30.

Deposit donations into one of the bins at school by the main office or foot of the stairs. The bins are labeled “Dress Alike Day” and “Dream Job Day”. At the end of the Food Drive, whichever bin has collected the most food will determine which kind of fun day the whole school will have. Find a list of needed items at www.newcastleptsa.org.

Volunteer Spotlight

Our classroom art curriculum kicked off this month and a HUGE Newcastle Lion thank you goes out to our Art Docent Chairs, Randi Belcher and Sam Condiotty. These ladies have spent countless hours planning an innovative and engaging art curriculum for every grade this year. Give them a big Thank You when you see them.
