Come Learn About The Renewal Levy On Wed, Nov. 20 6:30-7:30pm

The Issaquah School District Renewal Levy will be on the February 11, 2020 ballot. Don’t know what a Renewal Levy is? Wonder what the levy means for our school? Then join us this Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 6:30-7:30pm in the school library for our General Membership Meeting. Representatives from both the school district and the school board will be present to explain the levy, what it supports, and why, as a parent and a taxpayer, it’s important.

Donate Now To Our Holiday Gift Barn Toy Drive

Help brighten the day of children in need of extra support and cheer by donating NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts. Donations will be collected through Nov. 27 and will be delivered to the Pickering Barn in Issaquah as part of their toy store for families in need. Volunteers Needed to Help with Vision and Hearing Screening

Our vision and hearing screenings will take place Monday and Tuesday, November 25th and 26th. We are still in need of some volunteers for both days. Volunteers will be trained on how to administer the screenings. If you are able to help us out, please sign up {here}.

Volunteer Spotlight

Special thanks go out this month to some incredible volunteers.

THANK YOU to Heather Ackermann for leading our Food Drive. Thanks to her efforts and to the generosity of Newcastle families, we were able to donate 1,000lbs of food to the Issaquah Food Bank.

THANK YOU to Taryn Bailey for leading our Staff Appreciation efforts and making sure our Newcastle staff was well-fed during Crocktober Fest!

THANK YOU to Alice Kim for chairing the Reflections Art Contest. She secured judges and led the effort to have our amazing Newcastle artists recognized by the National PTA. More info to come on winners!

Thank you
