Join Us! General Membership Meeting Jan. 29 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Our next PTSA General Membership meeting is Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 6:30-7:30 in the Newcastle Elementary library. Please join us as our counselor Kailey Mutter, along with Nami Kusunose and Dr. Wood, share tips on building resiliency in our kids along with a discussion of our Second Step Bullying Prevention unit and how this crucial information is delivered to students. PTSA General Membership meetings are open to all parents and we've designed them to provide valuable information to our Newcastle community. This is not a rehash of PTSA business but instead a great opportunity for you to learn more about the resources available at our school. So please join us!

Candid Photos Needed For Yearbook

We are in need of candid photos of your children for the 2019-2020 Newcastle yearbook. You can submit photos of your kids to our Yearbook Chair, Jessica Anderson, at jessiej0608@gmail.com. All photos should be of Newcastle students on school grounds or at school sponsored events or clubs (such as the Costume Carnival, Chorus, etc). Please be aware that the photos need to be at least 750KB or the resolution will be too low for the yearbook. Deadline for submission is Friday, March 20.

Vote Yes On the Renewal Levy

VOTE YES ON THE RENEWAL LEVY
You should have received your Feb. 11, 2020 ballot in the mail last week. Included for a vote this session is the 2020 Education & Operations Levy. This Levy renews the one voters approved in 2018, providing continued support for career and technical programs, mental health counselors, safety and security staff, the district's first dual language program and an expanded high school schedule. With approval of the 2020 EP&O Levy, you can ensure these programs continue benefitting our students for another 2 years. This is NOT A NEW TAX! Please remember to vote.
