Join the Zoom Meeting HERE. THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING NEWCASTLE COMMUNITY Thank you to everyone who joined our virtual LIVE Reuniting the Pride Lands event on Saturday night. We think you’ll agree it was inspiring and entertaining. The generosity of our community was once again on display – thank you to all those who bid on items, won items, donated items, donated money and to everyone who helped make this event possible. A very special thanks goes to our Auction Chairs, Nicole Anderson and Sarika Sikka. They dedicated so much of their time over the last year to helping make sure our students have everything they’ve come to expect and love from the PTSA next year. If you missed out on the events, there are still ways you can help. We are less than $20,000 away from hitting our goal of raising $175,000. RAISE THE PADDLE will remain open until May 26 at 11:45pm. Our donor for the Mexico vacation added an additional trip so you could win a vacation for 6 to any Vidante Resort in Mexico for only $2k. There are also some great Silent Auction items still available, including the Legal Will/Estate package plan, Emsculpt, Seattle Athletic Club, and much more. See the full catalog HERE. SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY NEWS NEW! Issaquah Schools Foundation Offers Student Academic Grants We recognize that students of all grades may be in need of some extra academic support, especially now. To improve accessibility to these services, the Issaquah Schools Foundation is offering grants for students who need help to pay for tutoring and other academic assistance programs. This program is available to all Issaquah School District students K-12 and grants will be awarded up to $500 per student. Applications are open with a June 4, 2021 deadline. Grants will be awarded in mid-June. Find details and application HERE.
