PTSA General Membership Meeting
Join us in the Newcastle Elementary School Library on Wednesday, November 9th, at 7:00p for our General Membership Meeting, followed by a Principal Chat. You do not need to be a PTSA member to attend. Hope to see you there!
Lunch/Recess Volunteers Lunch/Recess support is still a great need! Please consider volunteering if you are able. Remember, you must be approved through the district to volunteer at school. We recommend you do this immediately as it is taking a couple of weeks for the processing of applications. Link to submit your application is HERE. You can sign up for lunch/recess support HERE. Angel Program Spirit Wear Drive
Many of us have outgrown school spirit wear lingering in our kids' closets! The month of November we will have a box outside the front of the school accepting donations of gently used school spirit wear! These Newcastle Elementary spirit items will be available for our counselor to provide to students who may need a change of clothes at school or a little school spirit in their closet!  Songs of the Season
Our wonderful music teachers, Ms. Webb and Ms. Martin, have collaborated with the Newcastle Arts Council to have our choir perform at the Songs of the Season Music Festival! This event will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, from 3-4pm and is the first ever winter music festival for the city of Newcastle!
This event will also be a collection of donations of new toiletries, personal hygiene products and baby supplies, as well as on-line financial donations for the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank. Thank you, Ms. Webb and Ms. Martin!
 Warm Clothing Drive
Girl Scout Troop 44472 is hosting a Winter Warmth Drive for Eastside Baby Corner! Provide warmth to children birth through age 12 by donating warm coats, boots, gloves, mittens, and scarves. Eastside Baby Corner is only accepting new/very gently used items. If you'd like to donate via the online catalog (https://gooddler.com/Wishlist/10339), be sure to enter Campaign Code- GS44472. Please donate by Tuesday, November 29th. The box is outside the front office. Thank you!
