Thursday, January 24th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Gibson Ek Commons Join Juliette Ripley-Dunkelberger in an evening of exploration of creativity and education. Why is creative thinking necessary? How can we use it for success in school and industry? And how does it fit into STEM? We will start with a 20-minute TedTalk by Sir Kenneth Robinson about creativity and education. We will then discuss the importance of creative thinking, and how to apply it to diverse fields, including STEM. Finally, we will put our knowledge to the test with an open-ended exercise. |
