The National PTA annually sponsors its Reflections program to recognize students for their artistic creativity. |

The theme this year is “What Is Your Story?” Students of all grades and abilities may participate by submitting their original work related to that theme in one or more of the following categories: visual arts, literature, photography, dance choreography, film production, or music composition. Individuals with expertise in each of these areas will judge the submissions, and finalists from Newcastle Elementary will continue on to the District competition. Look for a Kidmail flyer this week with additional details and registration information. The deadline for submissions to the Newcastle PTSA office is Friday, November 4. The PTSA will host a recognition event for participants and their families in the school library at 6 PM on Wednesday, November 16.
