    March 12, 2019 -Issaquah School District E-News This past February’s historic snowfall created many challenges for our community and school system. Now that it appears our snowy winter weather is subsiding, we can communicate the remainder of our school year calendar. In accordance with our negotiated agreements and approved 2018-19 school year calendar, the six days of school missed due to weather will be added to the end of the current school year calendar. The last day of school is now Thursday, June 27.  High School Graduation dates will not change.     Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 UPDATE: Because of uncertain weather conditions, we are postponing the Staff Luncheon on Thursday.     Every year, we provide 3 luncheons for our fabulous Newcastle Staff to show them how much we appreciate them!  In Fall, it is provided by the 4th and 5th Grade parents, Winter the 2nd and 3rd Grade parents and Spring the Kinder and 1st Grade parents.   We need a lot of helpers the first couple weeks as kids transition back to school. The kids will need help navigating Drop Off/Pick up lanes, having their bus numbers written on their hands and finding the correct bus. New families to the school will need help with greeting and finding their way to get their kids to the right classrooms.
