Finalists determined for the Newcastle Elementary Geography Bee!

Congratulations to the following 4th and 5th grade students who have qualified during their classroom Bees to compete as finalists in Newcastle Elementary’s National Geographic Bee!

Compliments to: Carter Ackermann, Jordan Arnold, Dylan Banh, Ava Bastron, Hudson Carlson, Caleb Chin, Carson Downs, Jacob Ficken, Lukas Fluegge, Andrew Kang, Aditi Marehalli, Kaela McLachian & Jacob Shigaki.

The above students will share their geography knowledge during the school Bee on January 8th beginning at 2:40 PM.  After the school Bee, our school champion will have the opportunity to take a written test in an attempt to continue on to the state Bee, held on April 6, 2018.

Parents are welcome to attend and support our finalists on January 8th during this fun and challenging event!

Thank you to Ms. Wilhelm for being the teacher coordinator for the Bee this year and also to the Newcastle PTSA for sponsoring this exciting event. We wish all of the contestants the best of luck!
