Culture & Heritage Festival: We All Fit Together!

THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 16th, 2018 FROM 6:00PM - 8:00PM

All Newcastle families are invited to attend this Friday's Culture & Heritage Festival, from 6-8 PM in the Commons.  We'll have cultural booths, henna art, food samples and entertainment. We'll also have food for sale, so come join us! 


Looking forward to celebrating Newcastle's rich culture with everyone! Feel free to come in traditional cultural attire.

Coffee Talk with Principal Mellish 

THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 16th, 2018 FROM 9:30AM - 10:30AM in Classroom 166

Newcastle Elementary's new Principal Dr. Tod Wood will be attending this Coffee Talk.

 

This is an open and informal forum for conversation about what is happening at Newcastle and the issues that affect our school and community.  Participants are welcome to bring topics to discuss. 

 

 

 

Lunch for the Break: Spring Break Food Drive!

The Newcastle PTSA is holding a food drive to support the Lunch for The Break program. This is an Issaquah Food Bank program that provides extra food to students during breaks who might otherwise not have enough to eat.

Each classroom will be assigned a specific item to donate.  Please have your child bring the requested item and place it in the donation box located in your child’s classroom.  Classroom specific donation details will be sent out in an email from your Room Parent.

Last Chance: Order Your 2017/2018 Yearbook Now!

Memories are made to be remembered...

Hello Newcastle Families!  This is your LAST chance to order your child’s 2017-2018 yearbook!  All orders must be placed by APRIL 11th. 

PRICE: $20.  DON’T WAIT: $25 if purchased April 1st to April 11th

You can reserve your child's copy online at http://newcastleptsa.org/Home by clicking on the ‘yearbooks’ icon in the left column and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

The PTSA cannot guarantee your child a yearbook if you have not purchased one by the final deadline of April 11th.

If you purchased one at the beginning of the school year, then your order is confirmed and no further action is needed. If you’re not sure, you can log into the PTSA website, click on ‘my account’, log in, and confirm your purchase by viewing current orders.

The PTSA would love for EVERY child to be able to take home a yearbook.  If your family cannot afford a yearbook, please let us know, and we can arrange for a scholarship.  Please note that it will be kept completely confidential.

SUBMIT PHOTOS!  Now is also the time to send in pictures for the yearbook taken throughout the school year. Please label with grade, teacher and/or event.  Email pictures to Jessica Anderson at jessiej0608@gmail.com
