'Love from the Oven' Cookie Exchange for Newcastle Staff

For the past few years, we have had the tradition of spoiling our fabulous Newcastle Staff with a Holiday Cookie Exchange to show them how much we appreciate everything they do for us.

Volunteer to bake your favorite sweet treats and help make their day!  Drop off in front of the office all day Tuesday, December 11th or before 10am on Wednesday, December 12th.

Usborne Books & More Winter Book Fair

Newcastle Elementary is excited to be hosting an Usborne Books & More Winter Book Fair, December 5th & 6th!  The book fair will be open during conferences from 8:30am to 4:30pm in the hallways near the front door. Parents and kids alike are invited to join us for shopping during those hours. 

With over 2500 titles, we have books to inspire, educate, and entertain children of all ages.  Come find the perfect gifts for everyone on your Holiday List!  Know who else enjoys our books? Teachers!  Why not surprise them with an Usborne Books & More Gift Certificate, available for purchase at the Book Fair.

Reflections Art Program

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Reflections Art Program this year! We received many wonderful submissions for the theme "Heroes around us".

Congratulations to the following individuals who are advancing to the District level competition: Aster Deng, Thomas Hoki, Ethan Hwang, Nason Hwang, Ella Kim, Kate Ma, Lillian Pak, Kaira Reddy, Saiesha Singh, Rishabh Sreejith, Molly Welter, Kason Yu

The Issaquah School District will host is Reflections reception at Issaquah High School on January 15, 2019 from 6:30-8:00pm and will announce the entries moving forward to the State competition at that time.
