We Need Judges For The Reflections Art Contest The submission deadline for the National PTA Reflections Art contest is TODAY, OCT. 28 at 3:30pm. Drop submissions in the box outside the PTSA office by then. We need judges! The contest categories span Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts, Film/Video, and Choreography/Dance so if you have experience in any of those (or even if you don’t), we need your help.  Coaches Needed For First Lego League JR
The Newcastle PTSA is sponsoring First Lego League JR for grades 1 through 3. The program launches in February 2020, but we can’t do it without coaches. We’re looking for parents, grandparents, friends – anyone who may be interested in this awesome opportunity. This is the last week to donate non-perishable items to benefit the Issaquah Food Bank. Donations will be accepted through Wednesday, Oct. 30. Deposit donations into one of the bins at school by the main office or foot of the stairs. The bins are labeled “Dress Alike Day” and “Dream Job Day”. At the end of the Food Drive, whichever bin has collected the most food will determine which kind of fun day the whole school will have. Find a list of needed items at www.newcastleptsa.org.
Last Chance To Earn Money For Your Child's Classroom The Newcastle PTSA membership contest runs through Thursday, Oct. 31. At that time we will award any classroom that reaches 100% membership participation a gift card to spend towards the classroom and a donut party. With the new playground and the Costume Carnival, you’ve now had a glimpse of what the PTSA can accomplish with your membership. You can join for as little as $15.
