Complete The 2019/2020 Parent Survey Today

Thank you to everyone who has completed our parent survey. Your responses will be used to help us plan for 2020/2021. If you have not yet taken it, please complete the survey by June 23. It will take no more than 5 minutes. Thank you!

Save The Date: General Membership Meeting Wed, June 17 At 7:00pm 

Our final General Membership Meeting of the year will be a Zoom meeting, taking place at 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 17. This will be a quick meeting to vote on our current slate of 2020/2021 Board nominees and to vote on our 2020/2021 budget. If you’ve ever wondered how PTSA funds are spent or want to have a say in where they go, this is your opportunity. If you are interested in attending, please contact newcastleptsa.president@gmail.com and you will be sent the invite.

Two Great Ways To Help Support The PTSA For 2020/2021

Friday, June 5 would have been our biannual Orange Ruler Fun Run, with the kids completing their runs at recess to help fund our 2020/2021 PTSA priorities. While we couldn’t be together this year for the run, your family can still make a difference for the PTSA, and thus our students, next year. Please consider contributing to our Virtual Orange Ruler fundraiser here. And please share the link with family members you think may be interested in helping.

You can also designate the Newcastle PTSA as your charity of choice with Amazon Smile. Simply go to www.smile.amazon.com and log in with your Amazon info. When prompted, choose Newcastle Elementary PTSA as your charity. Every time you order from Amazon, they will donate to the PTSA. You can also share this with family.

Get A Head Start On 2020/2021 National PTA Reflections Art

The Reflections program works to provide opportunities for recognition and access to the arts for all students. The theme for 2020-21 is "I Matter Because..." Students in grades pre-K through 12 can begin creating their original works of art inspired by the theme and submit in one or all of the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
