Say Farewell To Our Teachers And Staff On June 23

The PTSA is hosting a reverse parade on Tuesday, June 23 from 11-1. Families will have the chance to drive through and say their goodbyes and thank you’s to our amazing teachers and staff. Time slots will be assigned alphabetically with more information coming from Dr. Wood this week. PLEASE DO NOT BRING TEACHER CARDS OR GIFTS TO THE PARADE. Instead, you may drop them off this week when you pick up your child’s belongings. Thank you for helping us to keep traffic moving during this event.

Yearbooks On The Way

We’re eagerly awaiting delivery of our yearbooks. If you ordered one, you’ll receive distribution information later this week. Thank you for your patience.

Help Us Close Our Fundraising Shortfall

Friday, June 5 would have been our biannual Orange Ruler Fun Run, with the kids completing their runs at recess to help fund next year’s priorities. We weren’t able to hold the fundraiser, so we’re going into 2020/2021 without the $76,000 in funds we anticipated raising. If you can, please consider making a donation here to help us close the gap for next year. And join us this Wednesday at the General Membership Meeting to influence how funds will be spent. Thank you!

You can also designate the Newcastle PTSA as your charity of choice with Amazon Smile. Simply go to www.smile.amazon.com and log in with your Amazon info. When prompted, choose Newcastle Elementary PTSA as your charity. Every time you order from Amazon, they will donate to the PTSA. You can also share this with family.
