A Very Special "Thank You" For Our Volunteers

You’ve helped organize and run events, popped popcorn, wrangled kids through class pictures and hearing/vision tests, taught art, made copies and done countless other things both visible and behind-the-scenes and we can’t thank you enough. Our Newcastle Lion community wouldn’t be what it is without each and every volunteer who has dedicated time and energy to our kids. Please accept our very sincere Thank You {click here}.

 Thank You

Celebrate The End Of School On Tuesday, June 23

Our farewell parade will give everyone a chance to say goodbye to this crazy school year. Join us between 11 and 1pm tomorrow, June 23, as we parade (in our cars) around the school to say goodbye to our teachers and staff. Time slots are assigned alphabetically and there is a specific route to follow – find all details here. Please DO NOT bring teacher or staff gifts to the parade as we need to keep traffic flowing. Decorate your cars and get those signs ready and we’ll see you there!

Pick Up Yearbooks Immediately Following The Parade

Yearbooks have finally arrived and will be available for pickup immediately following the parade on Tuesday, June 23. Simply follow the parade route and proceed to the main school parking lot when you are finished. Volunteers will be on hand to distribute yearbooks. To help the process, please have a piece of paper with your child’s last name and the number of yearbooks visible for volunteers. Didn’t order one? We’ll have a limited number of yearbooks for purchase. Please have a check for $30 made out to the Newcastle Elementary PTSA. If you’re not able to pick up on Tuesday, please contact Jessica Anderson at jessiej0608@gmail.com to make other arrangements.

Consider Helping Us Close Our Fundraising Shortfall

Our general membership approved our preliminary 2020/2021 PTSA budget on June 17. Due to the cancelation of the Orange Ruler fundraiser, we will enter next year with our budget reduced by approximately $50,000.  If you can, please consider making a donation here to help us close the gap for next year.

You can also designate the Newcastle PTSA as your charity of choice with Amazon Smile. Simply go to www.smile.amazon.com and log in with your Amazon info. When prompted, choose Newcastle Elementary PTSA as your charity. Every time you order from Amazon, they will donate to the PTSA. You can also share this with family.
