Help Build Our Library With Gift-A-Book!

Gift-A-Book is a great way to recognize your child or a loved one and to help keep our school’s library supplied with new and exciting hardcover books! By donating to Gift-A-Book, your child or loved one will:

  • Be recognized in a special display in the library area.
  • Have a personalized bookplate in the selected book.
  • Be the first student to check the book out of the library.

Make a tax-deductible donation of either $20 or $25 by submitting the attached form with payment by Wednesday, Nov. 20. If you donated to the Gift-A-Book program when completing the PTSA online registration, we have your information and will contact your child to select a book. Please contact Debbie Park at parkave@gmail.com with any questions.

2020 Replacement Levy Discussion At The Nov. 20 PTSA Meeting

Join us in the Newcastle Library on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 6:30-7:30 to learn more about the 2020 Issaquah School District Replacement Levy. On February 11, 2020, voters will have the opportunity to replace the levy approved in 2018 that expires at the end of 2020, maintaining current funding for programs such as career and technical education, mental health counselors, dual language, and safety. Representatives from both the Issaquah School District and the School Board will be present to share facts about the levy vote and answer questions.

We will then vote on whether or not to endorse the levy as a PTSA. Please join us as we need as many community voices present as possible.
