Gift-A-Book is Back!
What is Gift-A-Book? It is a great way to recognize your child or a loved one and to help keep our school’s library supplied with new and exciting hardcover books! By donating to Gift-A-Book, your child or loved one will:
How do you participate? Until Wednesday, November 3rd, tax-deductible donations of $20 can be made online at the PTSA website. Look for the Gift-A-Book icon on the PTSA home page or use the link HERE. Please note, if you donated to the Gift-A-Book program when completing the PTSA online registration (EVP), we have your information and will contact your child to select a book. Family Night at the Pumpkin Patch! Join us for a family event at Fletcher Farm in Issaquah on Friday, October 22nd, starting at 5pm and ending at 8pm. This is a fully funded PTSA event and admission is FREE! Fletcher Farm is open exclusively to Newcastle Elementary families! For every family that attends, Fletcher Farm is donating $2 to the Issaquah Food Bank. Each kid & sibling can take home a mini pumpkin FREE as well! COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED! Join nationally recognized author and speaker Dr. Laura Kastner for a discussion about strategies to help our children, our partners and ourselves find calm in the chaos. Step Up for Kids The Issaquah Schools Foundation funds programs and resources for students and teachers across the district including every school, every child. Help provide Academic Support; Basic Student Needs; Mental, Behavioral & Emotional Support; and Enrichment Programs. Please Step Up for Kids and consider donating HERE. Monster Mash 5K Help raise a monstrous amount of support for local students by participating in the Monster Mash 5K hosted by the Issaquah Schools Foundation at Lake Sammamish State Park Boat Launch on Saturday, October 30th.
