Spring Fling!
We are still looking for a few more volunteers to help run the various events for our Spring Fling. NOTE: all volunteers must be pre-approved to be on school grounds and pre-approval must be done annually. The link to sign up for the event can be FOUND HERE (please only signup once you are approved).

The PTSA is hosting a Spring Fling event for the kids this year! For some this will be their first big event at the school during school hours, Monday June 13th. This all-day carnival will take place during the school day. There will be plenty of outside activities for the kids to participate in, including carnival games, field games and an inflatable obstacle course! Be sure to send your kids in comfortable clothes and sneakers so they can be ready to run/jump/play. Kids will have opportunities to win various prizes and every kid will be sent home with a Newcastle Lions goodie bag.
We are also in need of a few items to borrow: corn hole sets and a bubble machine(s). If interested in volunteering your time or have items to loan, please email Katie Green (katrina.s.green@gmail.com) and Alice Kim (aliceh.kim@hotmail.com).  Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be arriving in your child's classroom for those that pre-ordered on Tuesday, June 14th! We will also have a limited number of yearbooks available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis in the PTSA office on:
Tuesday, June 14th, 3:30p-4:00p
Wednesday, June 15th, 1:00p-1:30p (if there are any leftovers)
If interested, please bring with you $30 cash or a $30 check made payable to Newcastle Elementary PTSA. Only purchases made in person during these hours will be accepted. The PTSA office is located directly across from the school office.
 School Supplies for Next Year It’s that time of year! Newcastle PTSA has once again partnered with School Tool Box to make your school supply shopping easy! Our teachers have submitted their supply list and it’s all ready to go. Simply go to https://schooltoolbox.com, search for Newcastle Elementary, then select your student’s grade for next year. If you order before July 4th, the boxes will be sent directly to the school and will be ready for the first day. Should you shop after July 4th, the boxes will be sent directly to your home. Prefer to shop on our own? Check out the supply list on the website and you can see what each grade is asking for. If you would like financial support in purchasing, please contact Meredith Osborne (subbing for Kailey Mutter), osborneM@issaquah.wednet.edu or call the Newcastle office and ask for her: 425-837-5800.
