Help Prevent Bulling at Newcastle!
It's bullying prevention month!
Join us and wear ORANGE Thursday, October 31th as we practice and bring attention to bullying prevention during World Bullying Prevention Month™.
If you notice something with your child isn't right. They are often emotional, not wanting to go to school, and quiet about what happened during their school day. Ask specific questions about thier school day to get them to open up.
If your child is being bullied by ANYONE, please don't hesitate.
Speak up! Talk with the school counselor or administrators immediately. The protection of our children is the number one priority we have as parents, family, and caregivers.
What Is Bullying:
Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both persons involved, who are bullied and who bully others, may have serious, lasting problems.
Remember, bullies come in every shape and size.
Help us to STOP and PREVENT bullying at Newcastle Elementary.
