Tax-deductible donations of $20 are still being accepted through Wednesday, November 3rd. Don't miss out on recognizing your child or a loved one to help keep our school’s library supplied with new and exciting hardcover books! Our paraeducators could use extra eyes on the playground! Responsibilities include: walking around the playground and monitoring student behavior, looking for positive behavior (kind, safe, responsible) and rewarding with a lion coin, and reporting any unsafe behavior to a playground paraeducator. In order to volunteer, please email newcastleptsa.president@gmail.com that you are interested and you will be instructed on the next step. Thank you for helping our staff and students! Join the PTSA! SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY NEWS Step Up for Kids The Issaquah Schools Foundation funds programs and resources for students and teachers across the district including every school, every child. Help provide Academic Support; Basic Student Needs; Mental, Behavioral & Emotional Support; and Enrichment Programs. Please Step Up for Kids and consider donating HERE. Monster Mash 5K Help raise a monstrous amount of support for local students by participating in the Monster Mash 5K hosted by the Issaquah Schools Foundation at Lake Sammamish State Park Boat Launch on Saturday, October 30th. Costumes and festive holiday wear are strongly encouraged for a chance to win prizes! Register HERE if interested.
