Our next membership meeting is this evening, February 28th at 7p via Zoom. As a PTSA member, you have a voice and a vote!

We will have special guests Martin Turney, Executive Director of Finance & Support Systems and Marnie Maraldo, School Board Director scheduled to speak about the Levy that will be on your ballot!

In April the School district will be asking voters to approve the renewal of the EP&O levy, the Transportation Levy, and the Capital Levy (Technology and Capital) which are expiring December 31, 2022.

Like a subscription, local school levies must be renewed, or the funding will be lost. A Levy Development committee was chartered in December, made up of community members, business representatives, and a member from each school attendance area. Considering the current economic climate, committee members will form levy packages that include funding essential to:

• Ensure the Issaquah School District has all the resources necessary to meet its mission and Ends student learning goals;
• Safely and efficiently maintain facilities and property according to state and district use standards and schedules.
