Last PTSA General Membership Meeting/Principal Chat!
Please join us for our final PTSA meeting where we will be voting on next year's board, as well as approve the budget for next year. The Nominating Committee report is posted HERE. We will meet in the Newcastle Elementary library on Wednesday, May 3rd, and 7:00p, followed by a principal chat with Dr. Wood. Join us!

The Newcastle PTSA STEM Night is fast approaching! All TK-5 students and families are invited to attend this fun family event, held May 5th from 5-7pm in the Commons. The event will feature interactive experiences for the students to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Blue Origin and Liberty H.S. Robotics club will be onsite. To ensure that we have enough free pizza, compliments of the Newcastle PTSA, let us know if your family will attend by RSVPing HERE.
  Staff Appreciation Week: May 8-12
Newcastle Elementary has the very best staff around! Help the PTSA show our appreciation the week of May 8th. We are so grateful for the incredible work our teachers and staff do each and every day to make our school a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow. Let's take this opportunity to show them just how much we appreciate them!
We encourage everyone to participate by sending a note of gratitude, bringing in flowers and/or thank you notes of appreciation, or simply saying thank you to a teacher or staff member who has made a positive impact in your student's life on Wednesday, May 10th. Your PTSA will be spoiling them all week: Monday - coffee, pastries, and fresh fruit; Tuesday - Mexican Fiesta provided by TK, Kinder and 1st grade families; Thursday - Crumbl cookies, Friday - cool snacks and refreshments. Let's show our amazing staff how much we value them and all that they do!
Movie Night for TK-2nd: May 19
Families in TK, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade, mark your calendars for May 19th for your movie night! Classes will vote for the movie of their choice the week of May 15th. Please remember this is not a drop off event and caregivers will be responsible for their student(s).
 Nourish Every Mind Luncheon Benefiting Issaquah School Foundation
Newcastle PTSA members attended the Issaquah Schools Foundation luncheon on Thursday with other ISD schools. It was an inspirational event with some of our very own lions featured! ISF does so much for our community. If you are able to donate, please visit https://isfdn.org/.
   
School & Community News  School Supplies for Next Year! 📚✏️🖇️
Newcastle PTSA has once again partnered with School Tool Box to make your school supply shopping easy! Our teachers have submitted their supply list and it’s all ready to go. Simply go to https://schooltoolbox.com, search for Newcastle Elementary, then select your student’s grade for next year. If you order before July 2nd, the boxes will be sent directly to the school and will be ready for the first day. Should you shop after July 2nd, the boxes will be sent directly to your home. Prefer to shop on your own? Check out the supply list on the website and you can see what each grade is asking for.
