PTSA Membership Meeting

Please join us at our next PTSA Membership Meeting on Tuesday, February 6th, at 6:30pm in the school library. We will be voting in our Nominating Committee, which will have the task of finding our board for the 2024-2025 school year. Refreshments will be served.

Join the PTSA Executive Board for the 2024-2025 School Year

Would you like to help set the direction for the PTSA? Want to be more “in the know” about what happens at school? Interested in meeting new people? All while working in service of our students? Then please consider joining our PTSA Executive Board. We’re made up of parents from all different backgrounds and experiences, just like our community. We have moms, a dad, parents who work full-time and part-time, and parents who don’t work outside the home. There’s a place for everyone. You can learn more about the various roles on the Board and the time commitment (typically less than 3-5 hours per month) HERE. If you’re interested in learning more or have someone you think would be great on the board, please contact Dana Kinghorn (part of our Nominating Committee) at dkinghorn80@gmail.com.

Lunch for the Break

Do you need food assistance for your kids during school break?  Lunch for the Break provides nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack options for children within the Issaquah School District.  Registration is required!  Please register online HERE. All families with children attending school in the Issaquah School District are welcome to register and attend, free of cost.  Families can shop from a variety of produce, dairy, proteins, snacks and other kid-friendly breakfast, lunch and snack items.

Staff Appreciation Luncheon by 2nd and 3rd Grade Families

Three times a year, the families of Newcastle host a luncheon for teachers and staff to show them how much we appreciate everything they do for our children. This is our 2nd one of the year and the theme is Italian. We need the help of the 2nd & 3rd grade families to help create a delicious Italian Feast on February 13th, 2024! You can sign up HERE

Food can be dropped off by 10:30am. A table will be set up in front of the office for your convenience. All containers will be returned to the same table by the end of the day for you to pick up. Please label dishes, crockpots and serving utensils with your name.

Please email us if you have any questions: newcastleptsa.volunteers@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for helping us show our teachers and staff how much they are appreciated!
