Keep Giving THANKS To Our Teachers and Staff!

Thanksgiving is Thursday and who deserves thanks more than our teachers and staff? There’s still time to share a little love with the people working so hard for our students. Have your child draw a picture, send a note, record a message – anything works – and send it to his/her teachers. You can drop off messages at school or send via email or Seesaw. And feel free to show your thanks as well. Let’s make sure our amazing staff feels ALL THE LOVE this month!

Congratulations Reflections Art Contest Finalists!

Five Newcastle students are advancing to the District Finals for the PTSA Reflections Art Contest. Congratulations to Kaira Reddy (2^nd grade), Kason Yu (2^nd grade), Carson Kim (5^th grade), Isabelle Lee (3^rd grade), and Rainier An (3^rd grade). Check out their submissions HERE. A very big THANK YOU goes out to our Reflections Chair, Alice Kim, for all her hard work.

REUNITING THE PRIDE LANDS AUCTION

Holiday Dessert and Wine Pick Up Tuesday, Nov. 24

We have a small inventory of wine still available. It makes a great gift or a treat for you to enjoy while also supporting our students. ORDER NOW and stock up for your holiday (and winter) needs.

And the Winner Is…

By a small margin, Pumpkin Pie was voted as the favorite of Newcastle families! Local families in need will receive a pumpkin pie and pint of Frosty Barrel vanilla ice cream courtesy of the PTSA.

Winter is Coming….(The Winter Online Marketplace, that is)

Our Winter Online Marketplace launches Dec. 7. It will be a great place to purchase items and experiences for holiday gifts. Everything in the marketplace is donated to us, either by our own Newcastle families or by generous businesses in our community, allowing us to put ALL PROCEEDS towards continuing our great PTSA Programs in 2021/2022 and beyond. Help us make the marketplace GREAT!

• Search your house for things to donate: Unused gift cards (any denomination), unused toys/household items/sports equipment/etc, and future sports or event tickets - WE NEED THEM!
• Do you have a service you could donate (eg. interior design service, landscape, handyman services, tutoring/educational services, etc)?
• Do you have timeshare or vacation rental property you're not using or are willing to donate?
• Airline miles/hotel miles expiring? Upgrades?
• Love to put together creative gift baskets? WE LOVE THEM and so do our families!

A special Holiday Box will be available for donation drop-off on Tuesdays from 3:45-6pm at the front entrance of school. Donation forms are available for tax purposes. Again, all proceeds from the Marketplace will benefit Newcastle Elementary in the years to come!
