SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY NEWS Virtual Author Visit Courtesy of the PTSA! Come Take a Story Walk! We are so fortunate to have award-winning author/illustrator Peter Brown visit with each of our Newcastle Lions on Monday, March 1! Thanks to our fabulous PTSA, every student will get to hear, see, and learn from this amazing writer. If you’d like to become familiar with his books, there will be two Story Walks on the Newcastle school campus before his virtual visit. The first book featured is called Children Make Terrible Pets. This Story Walk will be available now through February 10th. Come by the school and see Lucy Bear’s pet adventures! We will change to book to The Curious Garden before Mid-Winter Break. If you have any questions, please contact our school librarians, Laura Berry (berryl@issaquah.wednet.edu) or Trisha Snyder (snydert@issaquah.wednet.edu). Thank you, PTSA!
