We’re REUNITING THE PRIDE LANDS – Register Today!

The time is finally here – auction activities kick off with our Silent Auction May 8-15 followed by a very special Virtual but LIVE gala on May 15 at 7pm. Hosted by Q13 reporter and the best auctioneer around, Matt Lorch, it’s sure to be an entertaining hour filled with live appearances, videos and MORE! It costs nothing to register and attend so register HERE today!

Wondering why we need an auction when school isn’t fully open?

We totally get it. There are a few important things to remember:

  1. The money raised THIS YEAR funds programs for NEXT YEAR and BEYOND
  2. We fundraise EVERY year and our biannual auctions are the BIG ONES, typically funding 1.5 years worth of programs and supports.
  3. We couldn’t have our Spring fundraiser last year due to Covid-19 so we started this school year with only $115,000 (compared to $282,000 the previous year).
  4. We won’t spend our budget this year, but we HAVE spent money to support our students – over 80% of funds spent this year have gone directly to student support and enrichment.

If you want more detail about exactly what’s at stake, check out the detail HERE.

Bottom Line: If we want our kids to have things like…

  • Monthly Art instruction,
  • Access to innovative programs via Teacher Grants,
  • Academic Enrichment like Science Expo, Robotics, Spelling and Geography Bees,
  • Student and Family events like the Costume Carnival, Spring Fling, Movie Nights, and Back-to-School Events

Then we MUST raise money!

Our goal is to raise $125,000 so we can start next year with at least $200,000. We’ve raised $23,000 thus far so EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!

Would Your Student Like to be a STAR in Our Gala Video?

We’d like to feature as many of our students in the 1-hr LIVE show as possible!  What are some of your favorite moments at Newcastle Elementary School (prior years too!) and what are you MOST looking forward to doing again? Send us your pictures and/or a 1-10 second video letting us know, and maybe you'll see your child featured in the show! Submit to: AuctionNewcastle2021@gmail.com by April 21st.

STEM WEEK IS COMING April 26 – Can You Help Us?

Join us the week of April 26 as we explore the world of Science with fun and engaging events planned for students of all ages. More info to come, but we need YOU to help us make STEM Week a success! We need parents to help lead virtual grade-level experiments on ZOOM. No Science experience is needed – we provide all the information. We’re also looking for parents who work in STEM who may be interested in fielding student questions. Check out all the opportunities to share your love of Science HERE.
