PTSA General Meeting and Chat with Dr. Wood TONIGHT Monday, March 22, at 6pm via Zoom Email newcastleptsa.president@gmail.com by 4pm for the Zoom link. Join us for an Art for All Tile Painting Party on Saturday, March 27! Has your student completed their tile art yet? Each student received a packet with a plain white tile along with paints and instructions a few weeks ago. We need these tiles completed and turned in by April 1 to be transformed into special masterpieces for the upcoming Virtual Gala on May 15. We thought it would be fun to bring kids together to paint the tiles so we’re hosting an Art for All Tile Painting Party on Saturday, March 27 at 11am. Help Keep Art in Our School When Students are Back Next Year Did you know that for the 2018/2019 school year, the PTSA spent almost $9,000 to ensure students had access to a monthly art curriculum? Without this funding next year, students will have no art in school. Help us to fund art in 2021/2022 by purchasing a special “FAMILY TILE” as part of the Art For All Project. Family tiles will become a part of the grade-level art pieces. You’ll receive a YouTube link with ideas for creating a special family project along with an 8x10 print of the completed Grade-Level art piece featuring their special creation. Order from MOD Pizza at Newcastle Commons this Wednesday and 20% of your purchase will come back to Newcastle Elementary School.
