Join us Monday, June 14, at 6:30pm for our final PTSA meeting where we’ll:

• Vote on our 2021/2022 PTSA Executive Board. View the candidates HERE.
• Vote on our preliminary budget for 2021/2022. This is a great opportunity to see and influence how our PTSA funds are prioritized and spent next year.
• Enjoy our final informal chat and Q&A with Dr. Wood.

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT! LIONBRARY OPEN ALL SUMMER!

The LIONBRARY cart will be onsite throughout the summer for your reading pleasure. Through our generous community, we have loads of donated books. Take several for your staycation or vacation! Challenge your friends/family . . . How many different genre books can you read this summer? We love to see our Lions in action. Send us a photo with you in a favorite summer reading spot. newcastleptsa.outreach@gmail.com.

THANK YOU FOR HELPING THE PTSA DELIVER THIS YEAR!

While this year was far from normal, your membership, engagement, and support helped us make it special for our students and we want to say “thank you”. With your partnership, we:

• Brought the Halloween spirit with our Halloween Boo-Thru
• Gave every student access to age-appropriate books with the Lionbrary
• Welcomed Kindergartners and their families with KinderConnect activities and helped Kindergartners learn to read by funding Raz Kids
• Sharpened our 4^th and 5^th graders’ writing skills with virtual writing workshops
• Sparked creativity and joy for all students with virtual visits from author Peter Brown
• Created fun for kids at home with a Virtual Baking Class and Virtual Painting Lesson
• Showed students all the possibilities in STEM during STEM Week activities

We look forward to all we’ll be able to do next year when our pride is officially reunited! Until then, have an amazing summer!
