Take a family Story Walk on the Newcastle Campus! Come to the school campus over break and take a family Story Walk! The idea is for families to enjoy a picture book together while using your ABCs: Ask Questions, Build Vocabulary, and Connect to the Child’s World. Starting Thursday, December 17th, you will find a Story Walk that begins at the front of the school by the office doors. Over the Winter Break, there will be two more Story Walks introduced before the New Year. Look for more Story Walks that feature Peter Brown stories in January and February. Thanks to support from the Newcastle PTSA, all Newcastle students will get to have a visit with Peter Brown on March 1st! If you’d like to know more about the Story Walk movement, CLICK HERE.
